How to play hole games online for free
- Pick a game from the list above or the home page.
- Press the Play button on the game page. The game is loaded only when you press it, so pages open quickly.
- Some games show a short video ad before they start (in our tests that happened in 5 of the 11 hole games here; see the list below). A countdown appears in the corner and you can usually skip after a few seconds.
- Use the Fullscreen button under the game for a bigger view, especially for portrait games on a desktop screen.
Why the games are free
The games are made by independent developers and distributed through a licensed HTML5 game platform that lets websites embed them. The developers are paid through advertising shown inside the games. In our tests, ads appeared before some games started, and in some games when you first click inside the game or start a new round. Each game page has an "Ads in our test" line in its at-a-glance table. PlayHoleGames does not charge for anything and does not sell in-game items.
Optional video rewards we saw
Several games offer extra coins or boosts if you choose to watch a video. These are always optional; you can play every game without them.
- Super Slime Black Hole: a +500 coins button on the title screen.
- Black Hole Fill 3D: a +50 coins button. Its SIZE and TIME upgrades are bought with coins (25 each on level 1).
- Hole And Fill Collect Master: +200 coins, Time, Size and EXP Bonus upgrades unlocked with a video, and Trial boosters (+5s, magnet, +50%) during a run.
- Holey Battle Royale: x3 START BIGGER, which starts your round with a bigger hole.
- Hole Attack Master Collector: SIZE and COINS video buttons next to the SHOP.
Other games use coins you earn by playing. Sink Hole has a seven-day Daily Reward calendar, skins that unlock with your level and missions that pay coins. Hole Master sells Radius, Speed and Capacity upgrades for in-game money that you earn at its Money Maker machine. We did not see any screen asking for real money in any of the games.

Free hole games on phones, tablets and Chromebooks
The games are HTML5 and run in a normal browser. Three of them use a portrait layout that suits phones: Black Hole Swallow Master, Attack Hole Game and Hole Attack Master Collector. Some games are built for a keyboard: Hole Master and Super Slime Black Hole use WASD, and Hole Upper For 2 Players needs one keyboard shared by two players. These 3D games need WebGL, so if a game shows a blank screen, try another browser or turn on hardware acceleration. Whether a school or work network allows the games depends on that network.
Is it safe?
You do not have to give us any personal details to play. The games are loaded from the game platform's servers, which may set their own cookies and show their own ads; our privacy policy explains this, and you can change your cookie choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
