About Hole Upper For 2 Players
Hole Upper For 2 Players is a local versus game. The screen is split down the middle by a black line: Player 1 has a blue-rimmed hole on the left and Player 2 a red-rimmed hole on the right, each with their name and a small bar above the hole. The first screen shows both holes on a grey checkered floor with one big green Play button.
The board is full of chunky, colourful shapes: yellow rings of different sizes, cyan cylinders, purple arrow-shaped blocks, red wedges and tall red pillars, and later yellow-and-black striped bars. Small pieces drop in straight away; the big pillars and bars need a much larger hole. As each player eats, the bar above their hole fills and turns green, so you can see at a glance who is ahead.
A clock icon and countdown sit at the top centre, with a menu button at the top left. In our round the clock read 20, then 13, 6 and finally 0. At zero the game wrote Winner on the side of the bigger hole and showed a Play again button, so a rematch is one click away.
It is one of the few hole games built for two people sitting at the same computer, which makes it a good pick for siblings, friends at a desk or a quick head-to-head without setting up an online room.

Tips & strategy
- Rounds are short, so go for the dense clusters of small rings first.
- Shapes tumble when they are bumped. Approach a pile from the side so pieces slide into your hole.
- Big pillars and striped bars are worth a lot of size but only fit late, so save them for the final seconds.
- Agree on best of three before you start; a single round is over quickly.
