About Holey Battle Royale
Holey Battle Royale is the most crowded hole game on PlayHoleGames. When our round began, the Alive counter in the top right read 90, and it dropped to 86 within a few seconds as holes started eating each other. The goal, as the name says, is to be the last hole standing.
The main menu shows your stats along the top: BEST SCORE, VICTORIES, MISSIONS and SKINS (0/27 on a fresh start). Your name (You by default) has an edit button, and an orange hole sits in the middle of the screen. Three buttons run along the bottom: SKINS, PLAY and ARENA. A speech bubble offers x3 START BIGGER with a video icon, an optional ad that lets you begin a round with a bigger hole.
The ARENA button opens Select Arena with three cards. Battlefront (red, with a pistol and a grenade on the card) was selected by default. Food Court was marked New and locked with the condition Play 5 Games. Shopping Mall was locked and marked Coming Soon. Press Ready to go back to the menu.
In a round the top left shows Kills, the top right shows Alive and a leaderboard with the top four holes and their country flags, plus your own rank (we started at #64). A minimap sits in the bottom left, a yellow arrow next to your hole points the way, and your hole is labelled You. The floor is a light checkered grid with groups of yellow objects to swallow. We did not see a countdown clock. The game's listing says the map shrinks during a round, which pushes the surviving holes together; we did not play long enough to see that ourselves.

How to play Holey Battle Royale
- Optionally edit your name and pick a skin.
- Press ARENA to choose a map (Battlefront at first), then Ready.
- Press PLAY.
- Steer with the mouse. Swallow objects to grow and eat holes that are smaller than you.
- Watch the Alive counter and survive until you are the last hole.

Tips & strategy
- With around 90 holes, the first seconds are chaos. Grow on objects first and avoid holes your own size.
- Use the yellow arrow and the minimap to find areas with objects left.
- Your leaderboard rank is a quick size check: if you are in the top four, most holes around you are smaller.
- Play five games to unlock the Food Court arena.
- Missions and skins give you goals between rounds; check the menu after each game.
