About Hole Master
Hole Master adds an economy to the classic hole formula. The first screen explains it in the game's own words: use the WASD or arrow keys to move the hole, eat as much as you can, then go to the Money Maker machine to earn money, upgrade the hole's radius, speed and capacity with the money you earned, and go to the next level.
The level we played was a pale green tiled floor next to a strip of water, covered in rows of bananas, strawberries and big red fruit. Near the start stands a purple machine with a blue tube on top, which is where the Money Maker sits. The money counter at the top right started at 20.
Three upgrade cards run down the right side of the screen: RADIUS (a bigger hole), SPEED (a speedometer icon) and CAPACITY (a box icon). Each card cost $20 at the start, and an orange arrow points at each one when you can afford it. Capacity is the interesting one: it suggests the hole can only carry so much before you need to empty it at the machine, which turns each level into a series of trips rather than one long sweep.
We did not see a countdown clock while playing, so Hole Master is a good choice if you want to play at your own pace and watch your hole improve upgrade by upgrade. A settings gear sits at the top left.

Tips & strategy
- Buy RADIUS first if large fruit will not fit; buy CAPACITY if you keep having to walk back to the machine.
- Plan trips: sweep one row of fruit, then go straight to the Money Maker before starting the next row.
- Line up with a row of fruit before driving along it; keyboard steering is easier in straight lines than in curves.
- With no visible timer, there is no penalty for taking the long way round to grab every piece.
