About Holecraft.io

Holecraft.io drops a hungry hole into a blocky, voxel-style village of fields, fences, trees, small houses and paved squares. The title screen sums up the game in one line: eat the village, eat your rivals, become the biggest hole. Next to it you can type a name (it shows LV1 under it), switch the language (EN) and turn the sound off.

The menu has two map themes and three modes. Day is a green village; Halloween turns the same layout purple at night with pumpkins, graves and coffin-shaped props, and the menu buttons turn orange. Classic is described as: score the most in 2 minutes; get swallowed and you come back smaller. It lists 2:00, 12 holes and a 320² map. Battle reads: 20 holes, like the original; no respawns, last hole standing wins. It lists Elimination, 20 holes and a 400² map. Solo reads: no rivals; can you eat half the village in two minutes? It lists 2:00, a 50% goal and a 240² map. Under the Play button the menu shows your Best score and the controls hint Mouse to steer, WASD, Enter.

In a match the top left shows your rank (we started at #12), your score, your level and a line beginning Next: that lists what you will be able to eat at the next size, such as villagers, sheep and TNT. The top centre has the countdown and the number of holes, the top right has a live leaderboard with the top five and your own position, and a minimap sits in the bottom left. Rival holes have names like Creeper99, RedBrick, EnderKing, DiamondHunt, MelonHead, PortalGirl and Steve. A pause button sits in the top right corner.

The clean block shapes make it easy to judge what fits, and the Next hint removes most of the guesswork about when bigger targets open up.

Tips & strategy

  • Run along fences, crop rows and roads to swallow many small blocks in one sweep.
  • Read the Next hint. When it lists something you can see nearby, head there as soon as you level up.
  • Classic and Battle need different play: Battle's mode card says no respawns, so avoid risky chases there and save them for Classic.
  • Solo is the best place to learn the village layout before playing against 12 or 20 rivals.
  • Use the minimap to find untouched areas instead of circling the part you already cleared.
